Fancy tomato juice is made from round and/or pear tomatoes in a several-step process. Tomatoes are washed and sorted for quality, then processed and strained to obtain the desired consistency and finish.
The finished juice is practically free from extraneous plant material and objectionable defects, has a bright red color and possesses a rich tomato flavor. It is pasteurized, hot-filled to ensure commercial sterility, then cooled prior to stacking.
